“Idc if this is overrated, this novel will always be special to me <3
I know I should probably say why, but it's too much so I'll say it later, trust.
Just know that the SINGH BROTHERS ARE MY G.O.A.Tssssssssssssssss”
THE Indian movie of all time. My #1 recommendation to non-desi people who wanna watch Indian movies for whatever reason.
Only movie over 3 hours I was SAT for the whole runtime without getting up once, even if it was really gorey for no reason. I'm normally not a fan of Bollywood movies or Indian movies in general(because the writing SUCKS for most of them), but this one is special.
Such a charming movie tbh, though the mice were annoying ngl
I knew how the movie would end, yet it still warmed my heart anyways TvT
If you've seen it, you know why it's rated so high. Reason why it's not 10/10 is because the animation ain't pretty and I don't understand most of the pop culture references.
Thought it was an okay movie for most of it......then the last 20 minutes happened.
So progressive for a 90s novel wow
They wasted Season 1 so much and WAS ONE OF THE MOST POORLY ADAPTED SHIT I'VE EVER SEEN I HATE IT SO MUCH URGHHHHHHHH WHY DID THEY BUTCHER ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS SO BADLY GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I can't even recommend the show to people because of how absolutely abysmal Season 1 is GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Like seriously, you know the season is bad when I found the serial rapist to be the most well written character there ToT
Season 2 is the polar opposite though; such a genuine masterpiece that makes me almost forgive Season 1. Almost. I still hate what they did to Season 1, but at least they were able to make it up with Season 2 by letting Holly Jackson cook. Hopeful Season 3 sticks the landing!! Idk why they changed Pip's physical character though but idc; I've grown to like Emma as Pip's character --especially in Season 2.
